Reverse Osmosis Equipment
| Osmosis, by definition,
is the passage of water through a semi-permeable membrane, and occurs due to the difference in osmotic pressure as created by differing solids content of the fluids. The cells that make up your body, for instance, are fed by osmosis -- nutrients pass through the walls of the cells, providing nourishment and water.
Reverse osmosis is what happens when we use water pressure to reverse this process. In this way , we can remove up to 99+ % of the solids content of the fluid. |
